Thanks again so much for all the electrical installation work you did for us. The project couldn't have gone smoother despite all my changes to the initial blueprint all of which you were only too happy to accommodate. We've ended up with a lovely boat far exceeding our expectations. Many many thanks again and hopefully you and your Fran will be able to drop by one day for a gentle paddle around the lake. !
Best of luck
Full rewire to widebeam on a lake in the Cotswolds. Full 240v fit out even with underfloor heating in the bathroom!. 32A shore power connection.
My leisure Alternator stopped charging my batteries when I entered the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal at Gloucester docks. So glad I called Martin at Kingfisher Marine Electrical and Heating Services. Martin arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and provided a solution. As I thought I needed a new alternator and new alternator to battery charger. Within an hour Martin had sourced a new alternator at a good price. He then worked out what modification were necessary to install. He ordered a new alternator to battery charger. Unfortunately, the supplier did not deliver the alternator to battery charger on the date they promised. Martin continually badgered the supplier and kept me informed of progress. Once the parts were ready Martin did the modifications and installed the alternator and alternator battery charger, quickly, neatly and with utter professionalism. Martin was quick to answer post install questions that I had. I do not hesitate in recommending Martin.
Bob Gould NB Gimme Shelter

This fine vessel is going around the world. Teaching crew on care and maintenance of onboard systems
Martin is a real star, he was quick reliable and was very reasonably with his pricing. I would have no hesitation in recommending Martin for any of you heating or electrical engineering needs. 10/10 for service, price 11/10 for giving the customer peace of mind. Could not give this company any faults. Wish other canal businesses were this helpful and knowledgeable. Thumbs up for this business
Thank you for ther review Jay, it was a pleasure to get your hot water up to full efficiency again.
Thanks so much for all your work today. Did a great job at sorting out our 30 year old wiring. We can sleep easy tonight knowing we are safe and sound. Very professional and gave us loads of good advice. Will definately use you again in the very near future.
Thanks Wendy, So many old unused cables, twin and earth and cable routing through unprotected bulkheads. Look forward to returning with arctic cable, new RCD, Galvanic Isolator, Sterling crossover switch, flexible conduit and P clips to tidy everything. - when you have the woodwork completed.

Answered an emergency call for my electrical problem swiftly. Diagnosed and rewired the fault quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use this service again.
Thank you for your feedback, I was more than happy to help. Not much fun having dead batteries when you live aboard. Shows the risk potential for making poor connections that can get extremely hot under load. New cables and connectors now installed.
Saved our bacon, water everywhere mid shower. Thanks for your help and determination to clean everything.
Your welcome Ken, just give the waste pump and catch tube a clean every few months.
Mike, Narrowboat "Sparks"
With no heavy duty circuits available on an all-electric narrowboat because of an over-heated consumer unit, matters couldn’t have seemed much worse on the run up to Christmas. No oven or hob, no washing machine or drier and no immersion heater. A call to Kingfisher was followed by a visit to diagnose the problem and an accurate assessment of the costs for repair given, all on the same day. Two days later, everything is back to normal on a new consumer unit, all fitted, tidied and tested within a couple of hours. Brilliant work. Well recommended.
Thank You for your feedback Mike, it was a pleasure you get your boat electrics on line again, especially so close to Christmas.
Full rewire on engine controls, domestic wiring and battery power distribution. Ongoing project in preparation for spring. Removed dynamo charging in the picture, to be replaced with alternator and Blue Sea split charge relay.
Replace water pump on narrowboat in Saul Marina, and sort some very poor wiring that had burnt cables due to positive and negative short circuits
Battery bank, Sterling Inverter/charger, 12v dc distribution, bow and stern shore power plugs with changeover switch, alternator connection, 12v lights and 240v sockets from consumer unit with 30mA RCD protection.
Martin is a great guy to have 'on board'! He has wired up a sailaway project for me over a number of days bringing light, pumping water, bilge pumps and horns etc as well as connecting my emersion heater, inverter charger, battery banks and everything else in between. Professional, tidy, smart wiring and work. Fully recommended! Thanks
Thankyou for the review Sophia. An absolute pleasure.
Battery bank rewire, bilge pump connection, Split charge relay, additional 12v USB and standard 12v outlets in saloon area and some wiring tidy up tasks.
